Cyril Cano

Assistant professor at École de l'Air et de l'Espace (Salon-de-Provence, France)

Since September 2024, I am an assistant professor at the French Air and Space Force Academy (Ecole de l'Air et de l'Espace), based at the research center of the Academy (CREA). I am mainly working on the development of signal processing methods for passive radars.

From January 2023 to August 2024, I was a postdoctoral researcher at ISAE-SUPAERO. I was part of the Navigation, Radar and Remote Sensing (NAVIR²ES) team within the Department of Electronics, Optronics and Signal Processing (DEOS). I have been working in collaboration with Éric Chaumette on estimation/detection methods which are robust with respect to model uncertainties.

From October 2019 to October 2022, I was a PhD student at Université Grenoble Alpes, based at Gipsa-lab, under the supervision of Nicolas le Bihan (Gipsa-lab, Grenoble) and Éric Chassande-Mottin (AstroParticule et Cosmology, Paris). My PhD thesis focuses on the development of mathematical and signal processing tools for the polarimetric study of gravitational waves in the Virgo Collaboration and the ANR Ricochet.
